Minister Rachel A. Young-Turner is a budding Wedding Officiant, Professional School Counselor, Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor, Mental Health Advocate, Public Speaker, and Self Care Enthusiast. She is a firm believer in authenticity and love. She will work hard to ensure that your wedding is customized to fit you and your partner's authentic selves. She welcomes couples from all religious backgrounds, gender expressions, and ethnicity. She can be as hands-on or hands-off as you need her to be. "I became a Wedding Officiant, because surprisingly it was hard to find a wedding officiant for my own wedding. My husband and I have not found a church to call home in Louisiana, yet. However, we did not want to go the traditional route of being married by a church pastor! I thought to myself, I wonder how many other couples find themselves in the same situation. I began to research and take classes to better educate myself and become ordained. The rest is history, I look forward to marrying many religious and non-religious couples who do not want to go the traditional route of getting married in a church with a pastor!"
